This document was written in compliance with article 13 of the EU regulation 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation “GDPR”) and explains how I (Barbara D’Amario; VAT: 02266940689) treat the personal data collected for my profession through e-mail and the website www.earthsciencediting.com. Moreover, it explains how you can exercise your privacy rights.

 

WHAT PERSONAL DATA ARE COLLECTED AND WHY THEY ARE COLLECTED

 

This website will collect some of your personal data when you fill the contact form and press the button “Send your document”. These data include: your complete name, professional affiliation (institute/university and country), e-mail address, and IP address (for spam protection). The form plugin also uses Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection; the relative privacy policy can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en. Once you submit a form, I will retain the data contained in it for 10 years, in order to comply with the Italian fiscal regulations. Within that time frame, all the information will be stored on my computer and protected by password.

Your personal data will be used to: 1) allow an efficient performance of my professional services towards you; 2) ask for compensation in conformity with the regulations described in the job contract signed by you before the start of the work; 3) verify your identity, if required.

Please note that I will never use such information for marketing purposes, unless you give me your express consent.
